I cannot log into my ucreative email or UCA computer
There could be several reasons for this:
- you made a mistake when typing in your password - passwords are case sensitive!
- there is an issue with your ucreative user account, e.g. your enrolment is not completed as you have recently changed courses. See a Library IT Advisor.
- you set the browser to remember your password, but changed your password in the meantime. Type in your password manually.
- your password has expired
If you encounter difficulties, please see a Library IT Advisor at your campus library.
Resetting your own password online
You can reset your UCA password from any device with Internet access by clicking the ‘forgot my password’ link located on any UCA single sign on page, such as https://myuca.uca.ac.uk. The process will require you to answer 3 security questions randomly selected from a set of 5 to verify your identity.
You will need to set up these security questions in advance as soon as possible. To do this, go to https://portal.office.com, enter your single sign-on user name (the one ending with @students.ucreative.ac.uk), then follow the on screen instructions. There are 20 questions to choose from, as mentioned you must select 5. Please keep the answers memorable as you may not have to use the tool for a while.
