Creative Learning Framework (CLF) – roll-out to current students

At the beginning of the week, you would have received an email from your respective Executive Dean. In this email it would have:

  • Made you aware of our new CLF,
  • Outlined whether you are affected or not, and
  • Advised you of the briefing sessions for those affected with your relevant Programme Director, which will follow during normal timetabled sessions over the next two weeks.

To best outline who this will affect from September, we have compiled the following flow diagram, which will also be shared in the briefing sessions:

CLF flow chart

The briefing sessions, taking place from Monday 9 February - Friday 20 February, will cover:

  • What the CLF is
  • Why it is being introduced
  • What it means for those students affected
  • And course-specific details – current and proposed new course diagrams; key enhancements/benefits; process of course development through close stakeholder working with industry and students
  • As well as what’s next

Each briefing session will also include a pre-recorded message from your relevant Executive Dean, outlining the overarching messages. In addition, the briefings will importantly provide an opportunity for you to ask questions.

A central hub containing all information relating to the CLF, including course briefing session presentations and FAQs, is live under the Academic tab. Please familiarise yourself with the content.

Over the next couple of weeks, the aim is to ensure that all students are as aware as possible of the CLF and understand what it means for you. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your Programme Director or the Student Notices email.
