Our new CLF outlines a clear, structured learning journey that is industry-aligned and future-focussed.
The framework is designed to support the success of every UCA student. It underpins the development of your creative identity, confidence, and employability by connecting learning to professional practice, industry engagement, and real-world contexts.
Briefing sessions by Programme Directors, which took place in February, for those and courses affected, shared details about the positive changes to each course brought about by the framework and was a chance for you to ask questions. Affected students, on courses affected, were then emailed providing full details about the changes to courses, which at that point, had been revalidated.
An overwhelming majority of students whom the changes affect, across the University, are happy to continue with their studies in September 2026 on the courses that have been re-designed.
We would like to remind you that the How the CLF will affect your course document to understand the changes that will come into effect from September, as well as the new Course Information Document for your course remain available on the Student Portal for you.
If you still have any questions or concerns about the changes to your course that haven’t been addressed, we ask that you reach out to your Programme Director or email Student Notices.
