Our new CLF outlines a clear, structured learning journey that is industry-aligned and future-focussed.
The framework is designed to support the success of every UCA student. It underpins the development of your creative identity, confidence, and employability by connecting learning to professional practice, industry engagement, and real-world contexts.
Briefing sessions by Programme Directors, which took place in February, for those and courses affected, shared details about the positive changes to each course brought about by the framework and was a chance for you to ask questions.
We have now emailed those affected, on courses affected, providing full details about the changes to courses, which have now been revalidated.
For each course affected there is a How the CLF will affect your course document to help those understand the changes that will come into effect from September 2026, as well as the new Course Information Document. Please make sure to take the time to read these if you and your course are affected, via the links below.
To be reminded of what the CLF is, why it is being introduced and who it affects, please re-watch the relevant School introductory videos.
If you have any questions not addressed or concerns about the changes to your course and want to understand your options, please reach out to your Programme Director or you can also email Student Notices.
We will assume students affected, on courses affected are satisfied with the changes to courses and are happy to continue with their studies in September, unless they let us know otherwise by 5pm on Friday March 27, 2026 – they can do this via the link provided in their email.
