Your ID card has the following uses:
- Identification: You are required to carry your campus card at all times whilst on University premises. The card should be viewable at all times to confirm your identification.
- Library Access: Your campus card provides access to library services, allowing you to borrow and renew loans. Visit the library section to find out more.
- Printing Access: Your campus card provides access to UCA print and copy stations throughout the University. Find more information about UCA print and copy stations.
Access Control: The University has started to roll out a door access control system to certain teaching spaces on campus. You card will gain you access to these facilities.
New students are required to submit their photo online before enrolment. These details are then processed and your ID cards will be issued to you within the enrolment process. If their are any problems with your submitted photo then this could cause delay's in your card being processed and issued at enrolment.
Students at UCA who have lost their ID cards must report this the Library in the first instance. You will then be required to visit your campus library where you will have a new photo taken for your new ID card. There is a charge of £10 for lost or replacement cards. Please check this with the library when requesting a new card. New campus cards will normally be sent out within a week of your picture being received.
